Laos, Asean Plus countries discussing cooperation in clearing mines
VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – UXO experts from Laos and other Asean Plus countries and their dialogue partners are meeting in Vientiane from December 3-6 to discuss plans on clearing mines in the region over the next three years.
The meeting heard on Tuesday that unexploded ordnance of war still poses a threat to human security in the region and around the world.
